Policies

Reservation / Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations and Deposits
Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to your arrival date for winter and 14 days in summer. For cancellations less than 30/14 days, refunds are contingent on re-booking the unit, less a cancellation fee. Cancellation fee is $100.00.

Reservation changes are subject to a $50.00 fee when applicable (Reservation changes may not be available within the cancellation period.)

A 50% deposit is due within 7-10 days of booking and must be made by check or money order. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.   Payments by credit card are accepted through our on-line booking for non-holiday periods or by phone when booking date is within 7 days of arrival only.  All online bookings will be charged to your credit card within 24 hours. 

Holiday bookings require a 100% deposit within 7-10 days of booking by check or money order; no credit cards will be accepted.  Holiday cancellations will be charged a 10% fee.  A $250 fee will be charged for any holiday stay that is less than the minimum nights stay.

Winter holiday reservations are not accepted online.  Please call us at 888-204-4692.

Security Deposits
All units are individually owned and decorated. To avoid charges to your deposit, please do not remove any items from the unit. A refundable security deposit of $200 ($400 for winter holidays) for each unit is required upon registration in the form of a credit card or cash. Deposits are refundable following unit inspection (within 72 hours of your departure.)

Parking
Mammoth Ski and Racquet Club:
Each unit has parking for one vehicle in the garage. Second parking permits are issued on a first come, first serve basis. Each vehicle will require a parking permit at check-in. Vehicles without a valid parking permit will be towed.  No 3rd vehicles will be permitted.
Mountainback:
Each unit has parking for one vehicle in an underground garage. Second garage parking spaces are on a first come, first serve basis but usually can be accommodated. Third vehicles are on a first come first serve basis in an outdoor parking area. Each vehicle will require a parking permit at check-in. Vehicles without a valid parking permit will be towed.

Special Requests
Specific unit numbers and bed configurations may be requested, but are not guaranteed.

Specific units booked through our on-line interface cannot be 100% guaranteed and we reserve the right to move your reservation to a comparable unit. We do, however, make every effort to honor your request.

Check-in / Check-out

Check in time is 5:00pm. Early check-ins may be available if your unit is ready. Check-out time is 10:00am FIRM. Late check-outs are subject to additional fees. If you plan to arrive after office hours, a lock box is located just outside our office door for your convenience. Please call ahead for the current combination or refer to your confirmation. A member of our staff is on duty 24 hours. Should you require check-in assistance after office hours, please pick-up the emergency phone located just outside our front office door.

Rates
Rates are subject to change without notice. Room rates are subject to a 13% Town of Mammoth Lakes Transient Occupancy Tax and a $35 booking charge. All units have a 2 night minimum and vary from 3-6 nights during holiday periods.

Maid Service / Towel Exchange

Mammoth Ski and Racquet Club:
All bed linens and towels are supplied . Towels are exchanged at your door  every other day.  If you leave for the day, please place soiled towels on the floor of your entryway inside the unit. Upon departure, please place dishes in the dishwasher and take out the trash. We will clean and replace linens after you leave. Bring extra towels, however, for the spas/pool.
Mountainback:

Emergencies
A member of our staff is on duty 24 hours. Should you require assistance after 10:00pm and before 9:00am, please pick up the emergency phone located just outside our front office door. Otherwise, please call our office at 888-204-4692, or 911.

We do not guarantee snow. We provide towels and linens, but ask that you bring extra towels for the pool and spas. We make every effort to provide firewood at no cost, however, subject to availability.

Sorry, no pets. (Unless in a pre-arrange, designated pet unit.)

NO smoking inside units.

There are no refunds for poor snow conditions, severe weather or early departure.

Before driving to Mammoth, please be sure you have tire chains that fit your car (or 4 wheel drive with snow tires.) If it is snowing as you pass Bishop, (or earlier sometimes) look for chain control signs along the road. Don't wait to put on your chains, even if the roads do not appear slippery. Road conditions can change within a very short distance as you approach our location near Canyon Lodge.
