1. Overall the property was good with a great location. <br/>2. Double bunk bunds & 3 bathrooms were a hit.<br/>3. Late check-in was a bit messy as parking & building information relative to the office was unclear.<br/>4. There is a bit of a Moth & Ants problem.<br/>5. One of the stoves did not work.

We’ve rented several cabins over the years and this had to be the worst experience. The cabin was spacious but very very old and felt unkept. Many kitchen appliances and equipment was either broken or missing and trying to cook (which we always eat in when we stay in Mammoth), took extra long trying to figure out how to accomplish what we needed with the limited supplies. The coffee mugs were all chipped and that’s unsanitary. There were no wine glasses or baking sheets, the toasters didn’t work and the coffee machine leaked. The whole place smelled very musty and mildewy and the rugs in the bathrooms looked dirty. The beds were pretty hard, there was no sponge to wash dishes and no matches or lighter to light the fireplace. We had to purchase a lot of basic supplies at the store that normally come inside rental cabins.

Very nice comfortable place and great location. Could use an elevator if can't walk up stairs and you are lugging ski stuff, luggage and food up 2 flights.

The Mountainback Complex and Unit 41 were terrific as advertised. The fully enclosed parking for two cars with direct access to the building was great, especially with the storm that brewed through one of our nights. The unit was well appointed and comfortably fit our two families, especially with the two sets of bunkbeds in the loft. The only downside is except for the hardiest of walkers, this unit is not really walkable to Canyon Lodge.

Perfect place for a group to go skiing at Mammoth. Plenty of space and beds, and having several showers for after the slopes is great. The hot tub right outside the garage is an awesome way to relax after too. Also having two covered spots in the garage was nice - no scraping windshields!

Well laid out and well equipped. This condo offered privacy and lots of room. The upstairs loft sleeps 4 - 6 and has its own full bathroom. Two bedrooms for privacy with the Master Bed/bath very roomy. Kitchen was the best equipped we have ever seen with crock pots, waffle iron, 2 full sets of dishes and all the utensils you would ever need. We cooked and ate in every night, saving lots of money and time. Full washer and dryer worked great and there was even laundry detergent. Having the Mountainback Office available for help and extras was great. Walking distance to Canyon Lodge if you want, but Blue bus line runs right in front if you don't want to walk. Best place we have ever rented!

A very spacious condo sleeps up to 10 but is only listed as 8. With 2 double/single bunk beds in the loft with own bathroom, 2 king bedrooms with the master having enough floor space for a cot/crib. A very generous sized kitchen with the all amenities you could need. Large TV, located throughout the property with a selection of DVD. Excellent heaters that kept the property cozy during our stay. The flexibility of the reservation allowed an early check in and late check out which was perfect. I couldnt fault this condo and will stay here again

Mountainback's Unit 41 is a fully furnished condo which is perfect for skiing, snowboarding in the winter, and hiking, biking and fishing in the off season. This unit has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a loft; perfect for multiple families who are vacationing together!
Maximum Occupancy: Can accommodate up to 8 people.
Bed Arrangements: The master bedroom includes a king bed as well as an en suite bath, with plenty of closet space. There is a spacious guest room with a king bed, full lower level bath, as well as a loft which includes two single-over-full bunk beds. The loft also comes complete with its own full bathroom.
Unit Amenities: This spacious 2 Bedroom/Loft/3 Bath condominium faces away from the street and boasts a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, high speed wireless internet (directions are in the unit), and underground parking. Each room has its own TV plus a large flatscreen TV/VCR/DVD in the living room. Plenty of games to enjoy provided by owner.
Unit 41 is located within walking distance to the Canyon Lodge and Village (shuttle stop also nearby).
Views: This condo has a beautiful view of the Sherwin Mountains!
The complex has 6 jacuzzis and a swimming pool that is open in the summer months with a convenient bbq area.
