Cozy Condo with Upgraded Amenities

We had a great stay in Mountainback Unit #49! The unit looks even better in person than it does in the photos. It's very cozy and we loved the exposed wood and overall alpine aesthetic. All the rooms were nicely appointed, plenty of space for hanging and drying of ski areas and we appreciated the large, open living room. Convenient bus ride to the village and short walk to Canyon Lodge (although walking with gear uphill isn't advised - take the bus on the way there!) Would definitely like to chose this unit again when we come back to Mammoth :)

We were two families with 3 kids and 4 adults. We arrived after 5pm and the management company left an envelope on their door which contained the keys to the unit. The condo was very well maintained. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. The provided everything you might need on a short vacation (3 nights). They had ample plates, cookware, utensils. There was a cabinet full of games. Very comfy. There is a washer and dryer in the unit that is not mentioned in the description. Canyon lodge is a 1/2 mile walk...which was an easy walk in a pair of comfortable shoes. We will absolutely being returning to enjoy this property again.

This is a very nice and cozy rental. It is very roomy, has sufficient heating, and all amenities were provided. The furnitures were a little older and traditional. The bathrooms were nice and updated. It is within walking distance of Canyon Lodge, about 0.4 miles, so it is a longer walk in snow. The management company was available and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay.

we had a 2 bedroom + 1den, 2 bath condo. Extremely well equipped kitchen with very comfortable amenities: keurig, brita, kettle, all the utensils, plates, cups, etc. Wifi was very strong and the location is great. Really nice TV with cable. Very large, comfortable space and quiet but central location.

The location was perfect for what we had planned. Wished we were there longer to enjoy all the games and books that were available. Appreciated that my dog was welcome. Loved the balcony… we used it to load in and out our gear… way better than lugging up the stairs.

This beautiful, comfortable condo unit completely met our needs. It was quiet, clean, well-designed for two couples and well-appointed. We particularly liked the gorgeous photos and family memorabilia. The kitchen was very well-equipped. There was not much of a view from the living area, but both bedrooms had pretty views of snow and trees. We all liked the location and were able to walk to both Canyon Lodge and to The Village. We would stay here again.

When our original ski condo fell through days before our arrival, VRBO, Mammoth Mountain Reservations, and Mountainback condos really saved the day! Not only was this beautiful unit available for our needed days, the reservation was accepted and finalized within minutes of my request. We had payment and rental agreements taken care of promptly and thankfully no further hiccups to our trip. The office staff was very kind and friendly (helping us with special requests even after we departed!), the unit perfect for our needs (updated and cozy with 3 bedrooms for our 6 total guests) and easy shuttle-ride or even return walking distance from Canyon lodge. The place was well-cleaned, had everything we needed (and more!). Our first-time Mammoth friends were thrilled with the visit, the condo, and the ease of parking, shuttling, walking, and overall just enjoying our vacation. Overall VERY happy with the quality of this condo and the services provided by VRBO, Mammoth Mountain Reservations, and Mountainback condos. Thank you, would highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Mountainback #49. The codo was everything that we wanted and the kitchen well appointed. The only downer was that our daughter's family was not able to join us because their flights were cancelled (twice) due to weather. We plan to go back next year. Loved it!

We had a great stay at your Mountainback condo. The underground parking and interior staircase was great as s am recovering from ACL surgery and was concerned about slipping. Great updated kitchen with many cooking utensils. TV had premium movie channels which were great for me as I was not skiing this trip. The shuttle stop is just outside of the condo, and many people were using it.

Loved this cabin. Really cozy, awesome decor that had a really adorable alpine chalet feel. The appliances were all updated and loved the upgraded counters and bathrooms. Close to the Canyon Lodge lift hub and just up the hill from the village. Would recommend taking the Blue Line bus (stop 76) up to Canyon Lodge in the morning if you have gear, but on the way back the down hill walk is short and easy. Would definitely recommend to a friend and hope to stay here again on our next visit to the mountain!

Loved the updated kitchen, had everything we needed and more. Nice master shower!! The place was way bigger than expected and perfect for our family of 4 (with a baby). Underground parking was VERY comfortable - a real bonus! Communication was great with the host, especially since we booked the place in the morning we planned to arrive.

A cabinisque condo with all the comforts of home! We immediately felt right at home with this 2.5 bedroom and 2 bath condo. The entire property was fully equipped with all the necessities to cook, eat, sleep and relax after a full day of fun. The location could not have been better! Bus stop 76 is right outside your condo so you do not have to use your car to visit the village. We have not been to Mammoth in many years. Thank you for sharing your place with us. We will be calling on you soon!

This 2 bedroom with a den can sleep up to 8 people! 2 full bathrooms with the master bathroom being a walk in shower. This unit is decorated elegantly with warmth, near pool area! Bring your favorite K-cup, has Keurig in unit and a regular coffee maker. A single story 3 bedroom unit with secured WiFi in the unit.
Bed Arrangements: The Master bedroom has a King size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The Living room has a new pull out sofa that serves as an extra bedding. The den has a trundle bed that can sleep 2 and is enclosed (with a door).
Televisions, other consoles, and Internet: Master bedroom has a flatscreen TV and a VCR. Living room has a TV/VCR/DVD player, and den has a TV/VCR player as well. Also features an easy to operate propane fireplace with remote control. WIRELESS internet connection is also available in this unit.
Upgrades: the kitchen was recently remodeled with new appliances, wooden floors, granite counter top, bring your favorite K cup, this unit has a Keurig and new carpet installed throughout the unit!
Views: It has a nice view of the Sherwin Mountains and the pool area from the balcony!
Walking distance to Canyon Lodge perfect for skiing/snowboarding in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer!
There's also a shuttle stop in front of the building.
Maximum 2 vehicles. One assigned underground parking space (7’ Clearance). Second space is first come first serve.
The premises has 6 jacuzzis and 1 swimming pool open in the summer with bbq area! Washer and dryer in the unit!!!
