Looking to enjoy some live music during your next trip to Mammoth Lakes? Then you won’t want to pass up on some of these live music venues that feature local and visiting artists throughout the year!
Make sure to take a look at their event calendars so that you don’t miss out on upcoming performances!
Mammoth Brewing Company
The outdoor beer garden at Mammoth Brewing Company is the perfect location for their summer concert series! Enjoy a craft beer, some delicious food from the Eatery, and a rotating list of musical guests.
The MBC summer concert series typically takes place on Thursdays and Sundays, but check in with their social media for updates.
The Village
The Village is one of the best places in Mammoth to boogey during the summer months. There are various music festivals that take place in the large patio next to the gondola, featuring a range of music styles from country to jazz to reggae and more. So, no matter what kind of dancing you want to do, the Village has a free event just for you!
Shelter Distilling
Shelter Distilling, located at the Village at Mammoth, is a great place to enjoy a laid-back, intimate live music experience. Throughout spring and summer, you can enjoy musical performances multiple times per week, often by talented local artists. Of course, you’ll also be tempted to try one of their signature cocktails or in-house brewed beer.
Distant Brewing
Located on Old Mammoth Road across the street from Vons, Distant Brewing is a welcoming, warm place to sit back with a craft beer and enjoy the vibes. Every week, typically on Thursday and Sunday evenings, they invite local and visiting artists to play a great set. And, if you’ve ever wanted to get up on stage yourself, they offer Open Mic nights on Mondays! Make sure to show up around 6 so that you can settle in with a beer and a seat as the live music begins!
Liberty Sports Bar & Grill
If you hear live music blasting somewhere in town, chances are, it’s coming from Liberty Sports Bar! Throughout the year, this venue welcomes some of the best musical talent in the area as well as touring bands from out of town. You can have your choice of blues, rock, hip hop, funk, and more. The musical performance is free, but you’ll definitely want to bring your wallet for some of their great drink specials.
Outside of Mammoth Lakes
Want to get to know some of Mammoth’s closest neighbors? Whether you head north on the 395 to June Lake or Lee Vining or head south to Bishop, there are plenty of musical offerings to enjoy!
T-Bar Social Club in June Lake
T-Bar is a laid-back, inviting pizza restaurant, bar and event space right off June Lake Loop. As one of the main social gathering places in June, there’s always something fun on the calendar, be it Jam Fest, or performances by local and touring artists.
Tioga Gas Mart in Lee Vining
If you don’t mind a bit of a drive, the Tioga Gas Mart, located about 30 miles north on the 395 from Mammoth, is a prime location for summer music. Yes, it may be a gas station, but don’t let that deter you. With a stunning view of Mono Lake and some of the best food in the area, it’s a gorgeous place to sit back and take in the tunes. On any given summer weekend, you’ll find many Mammoth locals making the trip to Tioga to relax and unwind with some amazing music.
Mountain Rambler Brewery in Bishop
You might be seeing a theme here in the Eastern Sierra: the breweries have some of the best live music! And Mountain Rambler is no exception to the rule. They have live performances every Wednesday night featuring local artists. And, on Tuesdays, they have a very fun and community-oriented jam session led by the cleverly-named Jamblers.
