Eating outdoors is such a joy when you’re surrounded by mountain views and pine trees. So, when you’re up here in Mammoth Lakes, you’ll definitely want to keep tabs on which restaurants offer outdoor patio seating.
Here are our favorite eateries in town with plenty of sunshine and fresh air!
Stellar Brew & Natural Cafe
3280 Main Street
Stellar Brew is one of the most colorful restaurants in town, so you’re sure to see its royal blue exterior as you drive up Main Street! You’ll also notice that they’ve got a fantastic, eclectic outdoor patio for you to enjoy a coffee, smoothie, or delicious organic wrap or burrito. We’re especially fond of their breakfast burritos!

Here at Mammoth Mountain Reservations, we’re lucky enough to be close neighbors with Stellar Brew! So make sure to stop in for a coffee when you come pick up your keys from our office at 3310 Main Street.
The Eatery
18 Lake Mary Rd
In terms of size, the Eatery has most other establishments beat when it comes to outdoor seating. In the summer, you can enjoy their stellar lineup of local and visiting musicians for an outdoor concert every Thursday and Sunday. Any other day of the week, take in the amazing views and sun-soaked dog-friendly patio with some of Mammoth’s best food and local beer.
Staying at one of our condos at Mountainback or Crestview? The Eatery is just a short walk down the Lake Mary Bike Path!
Roberto’s Cafe
271 Old Mammoth Road
Roberto’s Cafe is a local favorite, and it’s been around since 1985. They’ve got some of the tastiest Mexican food in town and a Happy Hour that is a must-do when you’re in Mammoth. The lower level has an outdoor patio overlooking Old Mammoth Road and a family-style indoor eating area. Upstairs offers a laid-back sports bar vibe, perfect for topping off a day of mountain biking or hiking with an unfussy margarita in hand.
Staying at one of our condos at Sierra Park Villas or Mountain Shadows? You’re in luck! Roberto’s is right across the street!
Distant Brewing
568 Old Mammoth Road
Distant Brewing isn’t Mammoth’s oldest craft brewery, but they’ve certainly made a name for themselves with true beer lovers! With an extensive food and drink menu, plus an always full schedule of fun activities throughout the week, Distant Brewing is one of Mammoth’s most fun and bustling establishments.
The Warming Hut
343 Old Mammoth Road
Yes, this restaurant really is as cozy and welcoming as the name implies. In their words, they serve “fresh, REAL food—at an affordable price.” So, you can get your fill of American classics like a BLT or Chicken ‘n’ Waffles without spending your entire vacation budget.
The Warming Hut has a patio that gets great sun in the afternoon, so keep this on your list for possible lunch spots. And like Roberto’s, it’s located right across the street from some of our Downtown properties.
Gomez’s Mexican Restaurant
100 Canyon Blvd, the Village
Gomez is not Mammoth’s only Mexican restaurant. But, for tequila enthusiasts, this is the Mexican restaurant for you. They pride themselves on being the highest tequileria in the world, with their own proprietary margarita recipe. These guys take tequila so seriously that they host our annual Tequila Festival in August.
In terms of food, you’ll find a Latin-inspired dish for every family member, from ceviche to carnitas, to plant-based tacos.
Gomez has a great outdoor patio, complete with a kid’s sand pit, right in the heart of the Village.

Good Life Cafe
126 Old Mammoth Road
Good Life Cafe is one of Mammoth’s most popular breakfast spots. And if you’re looking to chow down on a large stack of pancakes with fresh-squeezed juice while taking in some beautiful mountain air, ask for a table on the patio.
One thing we love about Good Life is that they take into consideration all of their customer’s dietary needs. This is a great spot to try if you’re looking for veggie, vegan, or gluten-free-friendly restaurants.
Liberty Sports Bar and Grill
3399 Main Street
If you’re looking for a true bar and restaurant dining experience, Liberty is your spot. They’ve got a sunny outdoor patio for you to enjoy a hearty burger and fries with a cold beverage. And you’ll immediately feel at home in their laid-back and friendly atmosphere. Perfect for a summer day in Mammoth Lakes!
The Yodler
10000 Minaret Road
It doesn’t get much more après-ski than the Yodler, located at Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge. But don’t get it wrong. This large Bavarian-style restaurant stays open all year long so that you can get your fill of bratwurst and beer in summer, too.
Take full advantage of their spacious outdoor patio at 8,900ft.

Gojira Ramen & Sushi
452 Old Mammoth Road
If you’re looking for the best ramen and sushi this side of the Sierras you’ll need to stop in at Gojira. This is one of Mammoth’s more recent additions from the last few years, and they’ve definitely earned a loyal following of locals and visitors.
Gojira’s outdoor patio isn’t huge, but it’s certainly worth stopping in and enjoying a big bowl of ramen or a few sushi rolls in the sunshine.
